About Seyrra
Independent Total Rewards and HR advisory, based in Singapore.
Complexity doesn’t need more complexity. It needs clarity. Seyrra helps organisations step back, understand the terrain and see what matters — bringing structure to complex people challenges, turning insight into action and creating a clearer path forward.
Two decades of HR and business experience, applied directly.
Seyrra is a created name, inspired by Sierra: complex terrain, changing contours, and a path that is not always immediately obvious. Standing in the middle of difficult ground, the way forward is hard to see. Perspective is what lets you read the landscape, separate what matters from what does not, and find the clearer route through it. That is what the practice is for.
Seyrra was founded on a simple belief: what a company spends on its people is one of the largest investments it will ever make. That carries a fiscal responsibility — to put the money where it matters, to know what it is buying, and to shape it around the people it is meant to serve.
Fast-growing companies may feel this most keenly. Founders and senior leaders are carrying several priorities at once, and so are the lean HR teams supporting them. What helps is rarely a replacement for that team — it is someone experienced working alongside it.
Larger, established companies have different needs, not fewer. Capable HR teams and competitive people programs are usually already in place. The harder part sits further down — the managers who have to understand those programs, explain them, and hold the conversation with an employee who disagrees.
About the team
Senior HR practitioners
Seyrra engagements are led by HR practitioners who have held these responsibilities inside companies, not solely advised on them. Clients always know who is conducting their work.
I help founders and leadership teams make sense of what they spend on their people — without the jargon, and without a 30-page deck.
My work spans more than 20 years in compensation and benefits — in-house and in consulting, across banking, technology and telecommunications, in Fortune 100 companies and in high-growth start-ups.
I have built and run these programs from the inside, and advised on them from the outside.
At Microsoft, I worked on and ran global rewards projects and teams spanning multiple regions and 190+ countries.
At Circles.Life, I ran lean HR teams responsible for HR business partnering, Total Rewards, employee experience and HR operations.
At DBS, I supported corporate and business units as their Global Rewards partner, and led the Global Mobility programme, moving employees and their families across countries. I have made the same moves myself, which changes how you design the process.
The work I am usually called into takes one of three shapes. An HR problem that needs solving — an executive offer that has become difficult, or a rewards strategy no longer aligned with where the business is going. A global project running across countries, cultures, time zones and legislation. Or something that has quietly become nobody’s job.
In all three the first task is the same: work out what the actual issue is, and explain it to the people who have to decide.
With Seyrra Consulting, I do the same for founders, senior leaders and lean HR teams — working on the issues that truly matter to your people.
